The Knoydart peninsula is on the western cost of Scotland and owned by the John Muir Trust. This trust has been setup to maintain the wildness of parts of the world (John Muir himself being a Scot who was instrumental in founding the National Parks in america).

This gives you a flavour of area. To say it’s beautiful, remote and wild leave the imagination to work it’s wonders at what you will find should you decide to join this journey.

Aside for the scenerey, Knoydart is also home to to the remote hamlet of Inverie which features the Old Forge, a fantastic pub which is the remotest in Britain.

On this course you’ll have the option of spending between 3 and 5 days travelling through Knoydart, there’s up to three Munro’s to tick off and time to be spent discussing the days successes and magic moments in the Old Forge. All this while marvelling at the scenery and wildlife you’ll see on the way.

Accommodation isn’t included in this course.

Novice (You don’t need to be an experienced walker or mountaineer to take part in this course but a reasonable level of fitness to spend 5 days travelling through the mountains.)

Knoydart is on the West Coast of Scotland.


9am – we’ll meet at this time on the first day of the course.


5pm – we’ll aim to finish by 5pm on the final day of the course.
