Description

Suilven is an iconic mountain in the far north west of Scotland, while not a Munro this is one of the classic reasons not just to be a Munro bagger. Rising out of bog and moor this lump of Torridon Sandstone stands proud like the upturned base of a giant ship.

This trip avoids the usual long walk in on the Landrover track by taking canoes over Loch Veyatie to the base of the mountain before a much shorter but still steep ascent. We’ll aim to tick both the usual westerly summit and the east summit which involves some scrambling. You’ll get a complete adventure with this package include a little bit of everything.
